Philippe
Piraux
photographer

Philippe Piraux learned photography to illustrate his projects during his industrial design studies at St-Luc Liège, at the end of the 1980s. During his career as a designer, his passion for images of architecture and industry never left him. He has continued to work as a photographer alongside his work as a designer.

During the 1990s, Philippe lived in Latin America where he divided his time between furniture design and photography. This was the time of the first industrial reportages and “people” shootings for the Latino music industry.

Back in Belgium, he collaborated for around fifteen years with designers, architects and entrepreneurs before devoting himself exclusively to photography, aerial shotings and video.

Today, Philippe produces reportages in the fields of architecture, construction and businesses for leading actors, highlighting both the work and the completed projects as well as the staff who keep these businesses alive. He also brings a sensitive perspective to his clients to design visual sets that will adorn the walls of their offices and commercial spaces.

“I am a perfectionist and a contemplative. Photography allows me to make the most of these character traits that define me”
